Nathan presents ABC Humane Wildlife Control T-shirts to Jamaican friends on his recent humanitarian mission trip to the island.
Nathan is a warm, easy-going person who offers a smile and a kind word to everyone he meets. His sparkling sense of humor is apparent because he loves doing comedic impressions of peoples’ voices and mannerisms, but only in good spirited fun. “Being able to help clients who are “stressed-out” because of animal invasion is fulfilling,” and he describes solving their problems as his favorite part of the job.
Nathan enjoys a challenge and likes using his net to capture birds and squirrels that are in basements. He is careful to net animals without getting them too excited, because they are very susceptible to stress. Once he nets a bird, Nathan carries it outdoors and carefully frees it taking great care not to damage its delicate feathers.
A graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, he loves the home team and can be heard saying, “Go Illini!” before a big game. More than a mere spectator, he is athletic and is an avid snowboarder in the winter. Nathan’s volunteer activities also involve plenty of exercise. On a recent mission trip to Jamaica with his church, he assisted a deaf community with building projects and made plenty of island friends.
Nathan is a charismatic and generous person and we are very proud of his altruism! He is a key part of our team.
